運動可幫助減肥,但這不是唯一的目的,運動可以帶來很多其他益處。

嚴格來說,燒脂減肥是效果多於目的。理由很簡單,因為每個人體質不同,一般界定肥胖的標準未必人人適用,而且引致肥胖的原因可以很複雜。

我們可以利用脂肪磅測出脂肪比,並以此來定期比較,及跟進自己的進度,不過有兩點要注意,說明書上有解釋每日不同時間量度的差異原因,另外就是吃飽了及洗澡後也會影響結果。建議每月量度一至兩次。

如果你急於減肥,而忽略運動為你帶來的其他益處,你的成功率會很低,這種心態對長遠改進你的生活及健康只有負面影響。其次如果想計劃以藥物及補充劑,達到減肥的效果,可能會墮入一個不健康的循環,每次急速的減磅,而減去的大部份可能只是水份、肌肉及宿便。當體重出現反彈時,誤以為再食藥及節食便會解決問題。事實這類體重下降,只要量度脂肪比,就會發現體脂反升不降。

暫且忘掉自己的脂肪比,學習輕度帶氧運動協助消除多餘脂肪,當有了進步後再增加強度。

These are not valid excuses for skipping your workouts because once those endorphins kick in they take care of all that. Your goal is to just show up until it becomes a habit.

Get prepared. If you don't have comfortable workout clothes, decent athletic shoes, gym bag, toiletry bag, workout gloves, etc. clean and ready to go, then chances are you will use this as an excuse to not workout. Buy what you need, get it ready the night before and leave it where it's in the way. Environmental cues are a great way to get motivated. If you're planning to workout before work, make getting up extra early part of your preparation as well.

Losing weight and looking good will always be the end result, but not necessarily the drive, you have to focus on other aspects of fitness as well such as getting stronger, having more stamina, or getting muscular. Write down every single thing you would like to accomplish from your workouts... maybe you would just like to go up a flight of stairs without losing your breath.

Fit people don't wander around the gym trying to decide what exercise to try next. Getting from flabby to fabulous requires a workout plan. A personal trainer may offer the help and of course you have to be able to afford one in the first place. There's no shame in carrying around your workout schedule with your log book. Plenty of beginners and even advanced bodybuilders do it.

It's difficult to get motivated when everyone around you thinks that fitness is silly and optional. Sometimes your family members, friends, or co-workers don't care about fitness or share the same enthusiasm as you do. Do your workout in a health club. This makes one of the greatest benefits since you can make friends with others who believe that fitness is a good thing and this is incredibly motivating."
